How to install grameenphone 3g modem on ubuntu

Lets connect gp 3g modem with ubuntu.

..easiest way.. 

1.first connect your gp modem with your ubuntu pc. Then you will find gp internet drive in your unity launcher. Open the gp internet folder. You will see three folder named as 'linux', 'mac', and 'windows'. Open the linux folder.

 

2.Inside the linux folder, you will find a 'pcl-begal-gp.tar.gz' file .

 

 3.Copy that 'pcl-begal-gp.tar.gz' file and past it to your home folder.

 

4.Now right click on 'pcl-begal-gp.tar.gz' and select 'extract here' . This will extract the 'pcl-begal-gp.tar.gz' file. Now you will see, a new folder has created, named as 'pcl-begal-gp'. Open this folder and copy all those three files in your home folder. Make sure that you have the three files -'grameenphone-internet.tar.gz', 'install.sh' and 'zr' in your home folder.

5.Now open terminal and type these codes-
chmod +x install.sh
sudo ./install.sh

6.Done! Grameenphone 3g internet modem driver and software will start its installation. after installed successfully you can open the gp modem application by searching on it in unity dash.Press connect button to connect your to start browsing internet using gp 3g modem on ununtu pc. ;-D
